Safeguarding means protecting children, young people, and adults from abuse, neglect, exploitation, and harm. At WarinHari, safeguarding is the shared responsibility of every instructor, parent, student, and community member — both on and off the mat.
WarinHari operates under the governance of WarinHari Learn NPC, a non-profit organisation focused on community and youth development. All safeguarding matters are handled with strict confidentiality in accordance with South African law.
Once you submit a report, it is immediately encrypted and a confidential notification is sent to the Designated Safeguarding Officer. Reports follow this clearly defined workflow:
* Deferred means the matter has been referred to an external authority such as SAPS, MASA, or Child Protective Services.
You can check your report status at any time in the My Report tab using your token and email address. The DSO may post comments that are visible to you, and you can add information or ask questions at any time.
All report data is encrypted with AES-256 before storage. Your email address is never stored in readable form — only a secure one-way hash is kept. Only the Designated Safeguarding Officer and authorised administrators can decrypt and view report contents.
WarinHari Learn NPC processes all personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). You have the right to access information held about you and to request corrections.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, please contact emergency services first. This portal is for reporting — not emergency response.
WarinHari Learn NPC is developing a fully integrated learning management system. The courses below are planned as part of the WarinHari education platform — members will access them through their PMPro membership account.
Course links will activate when the WarinHari LMS launches. Access is managed through your PMPro membership.
